MIME: The Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions describe a means of how to handle Internet message bodies with different contents. It is most commonly used for E-Mail messages.
MINIX: MINIX was developed by Andrew S. Tanenbaum for educational purposes. It is a Unix like operating system which can be run even on systems as small as an PC/XT with 640K of core RAM. Despite this, MINIX owns all important features of a modern multi-user computer operating system such as multitasking or networking.
